Hey, I’m Ashley T!
I’m a Colorado native calling Charleston, SC home for over a decade. I grew up feeling like a misplaced Southern Belle, so I truly feel like the southeast is home to me.
I’m a mom. A stepmom. A business owner. An entrepreneur.
But I’m so much more than that.
When I gave birth to my daughter in 2015, I felt called to make a change in my life. As a social media & digital marketing firm CEO, I was glued to technology out of necessity {and addiction}, and I knew I didn’t want to raise my daughter feeling like second fiddle to my iPhone.
I made the conscious effort to unplug, put down my phone and really soak up the magic right in front of me. And I am so glad I did. In the years since, I’ve learned more about myself and who I am than I did in the 20-something years prior to being called Mama.
While mama (transitioning into Mommy now) is my absolute favorite hat to wear, I still am connected to the woman I was before I had my daughter. She’s a bad ass in a totally different way, and I love her. I remember. I honor her.
No doubt the most important work I’m doing right now is in the walls of my home, but I still love to work on my businesses. No really. I legitimately love to work.
I love to travel. I love to explore new places, even right in my backyard. I love date nights, nights out with friends and those moments that you’ll never forget, NOT captured in your IG stories. I love being home cooking, decorating, crafting and learning about gardening. I love playing with play-dough, coloring princess pictures, playing dress up, reading the same book over and over and playing baby shark. And more recently, I love stepping into the role of teacher and homeschooling my daughter.
I love learning and discovering and feeling and working on becoming the best version of myself … and most of all I love knowing that I can create the life I want.
And I am. And I hope you do too.
Welcome to my life, Life with Ashley T. It’s my corner of the world where I hope you leave feeling hopeful, inspired and a little bit more connected to who you’re really meant to be.
