Family photo time is one of my very favorite times of the year. I love shopping for everyone, love choosing the location options with the photographer and love the fun family bonding.
This year, we chose the Rainbow Row area in Downtown Charleston for our backdrop with our favorite family photographer Sterling Pickett Photography. Novembers in Charleston are super up in the air: it can be chilly and rainy or sunny and beautiful. Well … our day fell on a cold and rainy day. We still made the best of it though!
Our three year old Harper HATES getting her picture taken (though she loves to see all the photos we take), and Sterling has a way with her and is so so patient. Harper also doesn’t love the cold, so it was a very challenging and wet shoot. Thankfully the pics of the girls turned out GREAT, and that’s what these are all about.
Here are some of my favorites:
Shop our outfits:
My long, wine-colored dress is from Amazon here. I’m wearing a size small but would recommend a Medium for any taller girls (I’m 5’7″)
Harper’s mustard dress is from Trish Scully.
Ava & Anya’s outfits are from Kohl’s.

Does your family take annual photos? What do you do with them once you get them back from the photographer? I’m always looking for fun ideas!
